We normally stay away... actually ALWAYS stay away from prospects who try to 
nickle and dime us.   We serve clients who understand the value of quality 
service and individual attention when needed, and we explain to prospects 
who try to N&D us, that we are not in the business of competing with 
publicly traded organizations and large organizations.  Really simple as 
that.   For every 10 calls, we have 8-9 rejections, but that 1 prospect that 
turns out to be a client is worth every effort!

But today, what really bothered me is this.  A prospect called for our 
hosted solution for his 705 area code.  Then he gave me the Telus horror 
story.  He explained that for an additional $49.99 he gets 10 local access 
numbers (exclusively for him and his staff...  no one else has the access 
numbers), unlimited nation wide (Canada Wide) calling, 10 simultaneous calls 
at any given time can be made out.  ALL across Canada.

This works out to be $4.99 per unique access number, and unlimited calling 
across Canada.....  now to me is unreal  --- specially if its being offered 
by Telus.    Can anyone provide some information on this Telus offering IF 
it really exists?
