Synopsis:
This Wednesday, Michael Jerris will be giving an introduction to the
design of FreeSWITCH (http://www.freeswitch.org) including its modular
architecture, implemented functionality, and approach to development.
Michael Jerris has been with the FreeSWITCH project for about 3 years,
working on all areas of the code. Prior to his work on FreeSWITCH,
Michael spent several years working with asterisk as a user, bug
marshall, and developer. Prior to that, Michael spent many years running
corporate wan, network, phone and call center systems for a large
enterprise including systems from Nortel, Cisco, and concerto (Davox).

The entrance into the conference area is well back from the road, just
in front of the fountains.
Driving:
The North York Civic Centre (in Mel Lastman Square) is located on the
West side of Yonge Street, just North of Yonge and Sheppard. There is
plenty of (P)arking behind the building at 180 Beecroft Road, or
underneath Empress Walk (entrance is off of Yonge and Emwood Ave.)
TTC:
The North York Civic Centre (in Mel Lastman Square) is located at the
North York Centre subway stop, one stop North of Sheppard Station.
Afterwards, we will progress to a yet-to-be-determined pub, since
Toby's has closed down, around 7:30 - 8:00pm.
