They are a local ISP, but if they have T1 circuits (they would, still lots of dialup), and bandwidth (they are an ISP), they could probably host a gateway for you. I imagine there would have to be some volume involved to make this worth while, but it's a possibility if you really need them. I seem to remember some colleagues signing up with AT&T's VoIP service. I don't know if they actually had an Anchorage DID or not, but I would be surprised if they didn't. That would be AT&T Alascom's territory, and there might be some hope there, but again, not good for low volume.
