I see a lot of people are looking for reliable colocation space.
We just purchased a new cage with 8 cabinets in the same datacenter
where our existing network and equipment is installed. This datacenter
is the only Certified World Class 'A' datacenter in Canada.
Unlimitel has been in this datacenter for the last 9 years and we never
had any power outages or high temperature problems. We inter-connect to
5 different Tier1 internet providers through the datacenter host for
better redundancy and latency. This datacenter also connects to TorIX
for peering with other ISPs. This datacenter uses 2x fiber links from
Ottawa to Toronto for redundancy.
It is located in Ottawa, Ontario. The basic pricing is $100.00/1RU per
month including internet bandwidth for VoIP through Unlimitel.
That said, we have 5x cabinets available for Unlimitel customers. Each
cabinet have 2x 15Amps AC circuits. We offer colocation for our
customers to install Asterisk servers to be connected directly to our
VoIP network. This colo space is available only for VoIP services with
Unlimitel.
