Miht not be as simple as that ... since DIDs are assigned on first come, first
served basis

here's my experience ... might help ..

I needed a DID that spelled my name (yeah, I'm serious) .. after a few googling
I came down to the with possible letter-to-digit combination in 3 area code
[416 647 905 and 289] and simply used 411.com reverse phone lookup tool to
see if the number was assigned (well, I called a few numbers of them as well).

- Long story short: I found the number I wanted and it was free and tracked
down the provider who owned it and there you go, I got the number I wanted ...

--------
I know for a fact that Bell Mobility (not Bell Canada) and Rogers Wireless give
their clients a chance to pick a number from a pool...(or change the number
from their web portal). If you can get the number you want that way, you could
simply port it to the provider of your choice.

It's a long shot, but with a bit of luck and patience, you might just get what
you want ...

Subject: [biz] How to get a DID with specific last 4 digits?

Hi all,

I'm in need of a DID for Toronto with specific four last digits (Letters).
Does anybody have experience in getting specific DIDs?

Bell Canada says that they can't give a specific number.

Thanks in advance!
