Hi DQZ

Thank you for your nice reply to offers of help

When you asked for help my initial reply was not welcoming. In fact it can
be
seen as rude. Several people wrote to me privately suggesting I was too
harsh. One thoughtful person started by saying in part:

> Why exactly is that? He needs help, and lets face it, although
> we compete, RSPs are often willing to be very helpful to each other.

In a long and sensitive message, another said, in part:

> I guess I would like to see a more collegial approach among those
> using this list and who all share a common interest in the OpenSRS
> concept, and your initial comment struck me as very uncollegial.

Personlly I prefer co-operation to competition and agree with these general
principles. In fact I see the OpenSRS network itself, and these mailing
lists, as a form of co-operative venture -- which is one reason I
participate!! In fact this next comment says it nicely:

> this list exists to help people seek and share information on
opportunities
> that will help their business. And that's what he was trying to do.

For this reason I feel I ought to apologise to DQZ for being insensitive.

Sorry, DQZ, I wish you well in your endeavours and hope you can make a
success
as an RSP. I'm sure you will find there are some very nice people on this
list.

Best Regards

Patrick Corliss
