Forgive me, I couldn't stand not to "contribute"... :-)
Chuck,

Sorry, just a defensive reflex against the other evil child.
; )

Dad, do all of your other children (Steven, Michael, etc...)
actually believe in the fairy tale that consumers actually type in
a 1-5 letter combination when looking for an item or service on
eBay or a search engine?
Actually my customers cannot really _type_ in anything. They click. That's where current modern computer literacy stops.
If so, perhaps they're old enough now
for you to explain why programers have to use "keywords" to
direct users to their websites.
If you mean SE spamming, airlaineticketdiscounts.com is a good name. But so is ticket-airlaine-discounts.org, and many others. The problems with these domains is that they cannot be branded. They are too long. They might give you some hits through hit-and-miss type-in, but that sort of thing works better with names like "szex.com". An average Internet user cannot type in more than 8 characters without making at least one typo.
Then, explain how buyers looking
for a product or service use the "Yellow Pages" or find what they're\
looking for on websites such as "eBay" or "Yahoo".  It's time for
the rest of your children to grow up.
You are trying to explain this to guys who have hundreds of domains registered and could not sell any of them. Just go to any domain seller site, and see gazillion of domains like your ones. Everyone is selling. Noone is buying.

OTOH, good luck to you with your auctions, really. It won't hurt us if you sell your names for some good dough - it's just unlikely. (Just look at names at ebay and the number of bids.)

- Cs.
