After many delays, because of personal reasons, I'm ready to release the redirection engine package.
I have a demo of it set up, it uses simple templates to help you brand it into your site. This is the first release, and so I plan on only offering 10 installations of it, so that I can get feedback from registration providers actually using the software. These first 10 will get a lifetime upgrade license, something I do not intend to offer beyond the first 10, and a $115 price (regular price will be $175), free initial installation or installation support and virtually unlimited telephone support for the initial installation and use period (within reason of course). Requirements: Webserver compiled with PHP 4.2.x or higher with MySQL support MySQL Database Zend Optimizer (which is free from Zend.com) A dedicated IP based Virtual Host for the redirection engine. Because it is assumed that your ordering system will be modified to support ordering of this service, there is no standalone signup or registration script. I can quickly (less than 15 minutes) make a custom one for any of the first 10 if this is needed, but I suspect most of you will simply add a database call to your ordering system to add the accounts to the database. The redirection engine itself has support for "cloaking" framed redirection and non-cloaked standard redirection, which can be configured per zone, by the end user (optionally this can be turned off), as well as by the admin. I have both an end user, and an admin, control panel. They are virtually identical, except that the admin can access all domains in the database, and can reset the status of the domain name. There is also a perl script to create dns zones for the redirection domains and generate a named.conf compatible file for you to "Include" in your bind config. This script should via cron to add new zones, or to remove inactive or deleted zones. I am limiting the sales today to the first 10, if more than 10 are interested I will fulfill them next week, and give them the same price if they contact me today and today only, but not the free lifetime upgrades (you do get all bug fix and minor version upgrades).
