1- If you resell Tucows (Geotrust) certs, you will have control over the relationship as you will do the renewal messaging with your end customer.
You can also do them through the same platform as you do for domains.
2- Tucows will be offering Wildcard Certs (and QuickSSL for that matter) mid November, we are working on it now.

Hope that helps.

Subject: GeoTrust / Tucows /OpenSRS

We are currently a Thawte reseller in addition to our OpenSRS domain reselling.  We received a letter telling us to signup as a GeoTrust partner.  In the letter it says that Tucows has "an agreement" with GeoTrust.  I have two questions:
1) If we resell Tucows SSL Certs, are we really just reselling GeoTrust certs and in that case would it be more beneficial for us to join the GeoTrust partner program?
2) When will the Tucows (or GeoTrust if that is what they are) Wild Card certs become available?  We have a need for one and frankly I am so sick of seeing Verisign ruin companies (NSI already sucked but Verisign didn't help, Commission Junction sucks big time since Verisign bought them out and now Thawte is becoming another ripoff outfit since being owned by Verisign) that I don't want to deal with Thawte anymore with the exception of when customers insist on using them.
