1) I'll let someone from Sales this question (since it's been a long time since I quoted the value propositions for being a Tucows mirror and am not even sure if it's pertinent and accurate - it's been a LONG time, pre-OpenSRS days)

2) The affiliate_id is a mechansim to allow you to track orders from affiliates of yours, nothing more - it's simply an extra piece of data.  More information is available in the API Spec document

Subject: 2 more Q's- Affiliate/Mirrors

Thanks for the replies.  I have two more questions.
1) We are running a download mirror for Tucows.  Our bandwidth/transfer costs have escalated and we are considering terminating this.  What benefits do we get as a mirror aside from the logo on the Tucows page which we get almost no clicks on?
2) When we do a domain registration and it asks for our "Affiliate ID" the price we pay for the domain doesn't seem to be affected whether or not we input our Affiliate ID.  Are there any benefits to being an affiliate?  It's been so long since we signed up, but I thought I remembered that affiliates got some kind of rebate.  We certainly haven't gotten any rebates for a long time.
