The Swedish TLD, .SE, will change the rules for domain name
registrations in April 2003. The .SE domain will have similar rules to
.COM, .NET and other free-for-all TLDs. So far, the .SE domain have been
closed for non-Swedish companies and trade marks.
There will be a sunrise period before the domain opens up, where
everyone can apply for their domain name.
The system for registration is not defined yet, so we don't know exactly
how registration will be done. All registrations will be done through
authorized resellers for the .SE registry NIC-SE.
Webway, an OpenSRS reseller, is also a .SE authorized agent. If any
OpenSRS reseller wants to register .SE domains, we can offer reseller
pricing and assistance during the sunrise period in April 2003.
