The Summer Marketing internship provides an opportunity to learn about
all facets of marketing. This specific internship program is a 12-week
program designed to provide you with an overview on Online marketing
programs and Lead generation campaigns to drive sales. This includes
supporting the Marketing team with programs around email marketing,
search engine marketing, affiliate marketing, and social media
marketing.

We are currently seeking to fill this marketing internship position
for the Richmond office.
This person will help us research and outline creative ways to expand
our online presence in both the residential and commercial markets.

Projects will involve online market research, website support across
international sites, copywriting, reporting and analysis of online
marketing campaigns, brand development and advertising, as well as
special projects as needed.
In return, the intern will learn best practices for online marketing
and lead generation programs, and gain hands-on experience working in
a highly innovative solar technology company that has both an
established global market presence as well as a fast-paced, ‘start-up
work culture.

Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Help manage social media properties (facebook, twitter, linkedin),
including daily monitoring, posting, content development, and
integration. Participate in the execution of a social media plan.
- Support lead nurture programs
-Assist with Search marketing campaigns
-Help with various website development projects
-Development of email marketing campaigns
-Copywriting support
-Event planning & support for local community outreach events
-Support in the development of creative assets for newsletters &
online banner ads


Qualifications include:
- Candidate is a student in their senior year looking for field-work
experience in Marketing in exchange for school credit
- Internet savvy and familiar with major social networking sites,
blogs, twitter
- Resourceful and innovative with online market research
- Familiar with search engine marketing
- Familiarity with application development in Facebook is preferred
but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Familiar with basic html and basics of website development preferred
but not required
- Experience with SalesForce or other CRM solution ideal, but not
required
-Well organized with attention to detail
-Interested in marketing, lead generation programs and managing
websites
-Interested in learning about the Energy market, solar power and solar
technology
-The candidate must be currently enrolled in bachelor\'s program
-The candidate must be able to receive a credit in school for his/her
internship


Details:
- Position available in the Point Richmond, CA office, right on the
water.
- Gym onsite with access to bikes and great trails during lunch or
after work.

- The candidate must be able to intern minimum of 24 hours per week
for a minimum of 12 weeks.
