if the rangers do not get in the playoffs it will mark the first time ever
that at least one metro area team did not make the playoffs since all 3
teams were in the same area. that would be since 82-83 season when the
devils came from colorado!!!! at one team has made the post season since
then. BUT NOT THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!
