Considering I WAS in the Air Force and knew "buff" well I am very sure
that *I* never suggested that it was a "dive bomber" and anyone familiar
with the plane would tell you that in a typical dive bombing the wings on
the B-52 would prove to be a bit too fragile to make one such mission
survivable It'd dive okay, and probably make a 20 foot crater where it hit.
