Last weekend, the McCain campaign announced a new strategy: "turn the
page" on talk about the economy and attack Barack Obama's character
instead.
Now they've sunk to a new low--sending out an email from the son of a
judge whose house was firebombed while presiding over a Black Panther
trial in 1971. It reads: "Barack Obama's friend tried to kill my family."
It's disgusting. But that doesn't mean it won't work. Remember the Swift
Boat Veterans' bogus attacks on John Kerry in 2004?
Here's how we fight back: reach out and talk to our neighbors honestly
about why Obama's the best choice. MoveOn members are heading to the
campaign office in Fayetteville this Saturday to do just that--can you help out?
