It's crunch time, and we need your help.
We've been receiving extremely valuable reports on the latest smears from
TruthFightsBack activists, and it's helped us keep on top of the right-wing
smear machine.
In fact, we had our first post up correcting smears about ACORN before the
attack had even began to be reported widely on the news.
But if you thought the Republican smears were already bad, just wait. The
mailers and robocalls are starting to be sent out in bulk from the McCain
campaign and other Republicans, and we need you to help us keep on top of it.
If you receive a right-wing smear, we want to know about it, so we can respond
as quickly as possibly with a page telling them the truth. So whenever you get
a misleading e-mail, fight back:

And there's another way you can fight back.
If you are on John Kerry's email list, you've already seen an email I sent out
about the success of our search campaign. Every time someone does a search on
Google about a right-wing smear, a John Kerry sponsored ad pops up to debunk
the smear.
We have a problem, though. There are so many smears out there, and so many
people clicking our links, that it's overwhelming our system.
We're boosting our Google ad campaign to make sure we keep getting a sponsored
link as the top of every search on common smears. And as you send in the newest
smears, we'll have to continue to buy more search terms to spread the truth.

The TFB community has done so much to help us keep on top of the smears, and I
thank you. We've made a real difference, and we've helped engage the many, many
people in the johnkerry.com community -- including some key work last week
pushing back against the hate-filled language at McCain-Palin rallies.

historic mandate for a new direction in our country.
