These Republicans have no shame.
In North Carolina, Elizabeth Dole is back with another reprehensible TV ad.
This one features the same outrageous personal attacks against Kay Hagan's
religious faith as Dole's previous ad, despite repeated calls for Dole to
repudiate such vile smear campaigns.
In Alaska, convicted felon Ted Stevens told a local newspaper that he "hadn't
been convicted of anything" and that "there's not a black mark by my name." At
this point, Stevens seems to be in some pretty serious denial.
They think they can say anything to win. The DSCC won't let that happen.
Thanks to a massive wave of grassroots support, we are matching the Republicans
dollar-for-dollar in each and every battleground state.
Now, to bring all these victories home, we need to expand our proven field
program in North Carolina, Alaska, and across the country, but it will take an
extra $100,000 from the DSCC grassroots before midnight tonight. We already
have 6,000 volunteers in just these two states, and they're ready to make

The contours of the Senate races are changing almost hourly. The RNC is
pouring $5 million into battleground races in a desperate, last-ditch effort to
prevent us from getting that filibuster-proof majority.
So far, Republican efforts aren't working. The latest polls give Jeff Merkley
his biggest lead of the cycle in Oregon. Al Franken holds a small lead in
Minnesota. Even Jim Martin, our candidate in Georgia, has pulled to within one
point.
