BY NIRVI SHAH [EMAIL PROTECTED] One first-grader robbed another at knife-point last week at Pines Lakes Elementary in Pembroke Pines, school district administrators said Tuesday. A 7-year-old boy has been suspended for 10 days and faces expulsion, school district spokeswoman Nadine Drew said. School officials do not know where the boy got the knife or if he brought it from home. The other boy, a 6-year-old, handed over some money last Wednesday when his classmate threatened him in the bathroom, Drew said. His mother reported the incident to the school when classes resumed Monday. At one point, the 6-year-old's nose started bleeding during the incident, but it is unclear whether he was injured or had a nosebleed for another reason, Drew said. Pembroke Pines Police must decide whether to charge the older boy with a crime. The incident is the latest in a spate of school attacks that started Nov. 12, when one Dillard High sophomore shot and killed a classmate. -- "Usually when people are sad, they don't do anything.
