Brother James, My mother departed this world in December of 2007. I was the prodigal son, estranged from her for most of my life. I came home to care for her when she was very ill. I did not know enough about her life to even eulogize her at her memorial service. But the fact that I took care of her and was there for her until she passed will sustain me forever.
