Today at 0718 am I was terrified to be looking down the barrel of a loaded gun by a sworn peace officer named O. Dominguez badge #6121. ....he was assigned to the traffic detail for the Long Beach Marathon on Oct 11, 2009. Now, the traffic was hectic and some people were forced to sit 20 minutes or more (myself included) at the different intersections thorough out the area that surrounds Cal State Long Beach. It was around 645 am that I came across a maze of Barriers that prevented me from entering the downtown area of Long Beach. I was headed for a church in Long beach. I go there almost 7 days a week. I crossed the intersection of Anaheim St and Pacific Coast highway because the other directions was also blocked off. While sitting in Traffic, with the other cars for about 20 minutes, sitting in my car, waiting patiently for the traffic to move again, I was listening to a Gospel cd in my cd player in the car. I was really sitting there praising God for all the blessings I have received, really thinking how Great God is, how wonderful Christ has been in my life....and then I got out of my car, stood up and look into the sky and really praised the Lord..whole Heartily.....now, my music was on. I noticed behind me a individual with a bull horn about 100 yards away saying something, and gesturing with his hand... I didn't hear what he was saying, but I got back into my car, turned off car and just sat their, What did he say?..I have no clue, but I see the other cars in the left turning lane, begin to turn, over the divider and make a u-turn....they drove off....now the next car....same thing....Now I was the 4th car in the procession to have the room to make a u-turn over the divider. No traffic was coming from the opposite direction because it was closed due to the Marathon. Now, I make a U-turn, exactly like the other cars ahead of me, when as soon as I cross Anaheim going southbound on Pacific Coast Highway, I get flashing lights by the guy who was on the bull horn. He asked me for my drivers licence ..my proof of Insurance...my registration.......Now....I give it to him, and I asked him why I was being stopped and not the 4 other vehicles that proceeded me?..he said it must be your lucky day....so I sat in the car while he had me sitting in the car for about 15 more minutes (this is a total of 35 minutes now that I have to go to the rest room) waiting for him to site me or whatever. now I am getting inpatient, I step out of the car to ask if I can go to the bathroom, when he came out of the car with his gun locked and loaded, aiming right at my face, ordering me back in the car....then he went back into the car and another 10 minutes went by, about 20 cars had made the same u-turn at this point, now, he comes back to the car with a citation for me to sign, saying I was being stopped for playing my music too loud, and also for the u-turn over the divider. ..So that is how I got singled out and gun pulled on me for Praising God while waiting one Sunday Morning in Long Beach.....
