I have not used gallimycin, I have used gentamycin.  Gentamycin is very hard 
on the kidneys.  I still like pennicillin, when I really need a broad 
spectrum, I also use Baytril.  For pneumonia pennicillin and some sulfa 
drugs work good..  Sulfamathazine works good with pennicillin.
