I posted about coyotes. We grew up in MN and lived there for our first 50 years. Now we live in Colorado, northeast, near the Pawnee grasslands. Not much water here.. The Colorado coyotes are dwarf compared to the coyotes in Minnesota. Just my take on it. There were coy-dogs in Minnesota. They weren't afraid of much.

The coyote hunt primarily individually but are also known to hunt as a pack. They also employ team strategy where one coyote will lead off a dog(s) and then others go in for the kill. One livestock guardian dog is unable to defend a flock. The coyote here range from 45 to 65 pounds and rarely larger. It is especially important when one considers a subject like coyotes. _______________________________________________ This message is from the Blackbelly mailing list Visit the list's homepage at %http://www.blackbellysheep.info _______________________________________________ This message is from the Blackbelly mailing list Visit the list's homepage at %http://www.blackbellysheep.info
