Hi, I have a 5 week old ewe that probably is not getting much milk from her mother because of her mother's mastitis (which has been persistent despite antibiotics and hot compresses). The little ewe has been eating solid food for a few weeks now and seems to be doing ok. However, I noticed that she had a sort of swelling on her left side, under the skin, in front of her rear leg. It seems pretty internal, not like a bruise.Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? I tried Mercks Vet manual, but can't find anything to help. Thanks,
