(My monitor is dead so am using the library...cannot locate "Plain

Baling JohnsonGrass Hay Monday and Tuesday about 2pm,
central Texas. No rain. Clear, sunny and windy. High around
100 degrees. Normal.
Remember: no danger of Prusaic Acid poisoning. Cost is $2.50 per
square bale, bale #301 and up is $2.00 each. Cash only. Pick up
off the field. No one has asked for round bales. That can be
accommodated.
Other than feed, Johnson Grass is excellent for bedding as the
stalks are round and moisture rolls off.
Directions:
>From the south, (Yoakum is almost 2 hrs south and that's
considered close) take hwy 95 north to Holland. After passing
through Bartlett about a mile before getting to the blinking light
in Holland, you'll pass Snyder Salvage on your right.
Then comes the right turn onto FM2268 east. Go approx 2 miles.
Turn left onto Hawk Lane (dirt road) and follow to the dead end.
Gate
will be open. You'll know you are near Hawk Lane because there's
a beautiful large oak tree that extends over the FM road.
Then comes Hawk Lane to the left.
>From the north take exit 304 from I-35 and take loop 363
which becomes 95 as you head south to Holland. Pass the
blinking light in Holland and continue south. Halfways up the hill
is
the left turn onto FM 2268 going east. Follow as above.
>From the south or west take exit 283 from I-35 and go east to
Holland and at the blinking light, go south then east on FM 2268.
>From the east, from Cameron, come west on 36/190 and exit
for 95 south and follow to Holland and same directions.
>From other points east, call me: 254-657-2647 (no cell phone).
Gate closed and locked by 8pm. If gate closed before then,
I'll have a note attached. Thank you.
