My guess on the buying of lamb meat by u.s. consumers, is its the govmt on their lamb
meat buying that holds up artifical numbers. the are buying huge amounts of sheep
meat, storing it, then (i guess) handing it to prisons, welfare to eat it. sort of a
captive audience....
I see the stuff in the markets & its fatty, most people buy once, never again so
to try & get them to test hair sheep meat is tough.
The smell, cloying fat after taste turns them off forever..

In the wool breeds is a large amount of genepool.
How comes that America lost a 95 % of the lamb market to New Zealand and
Australia ?
What did the US do wrong ?
I would say that 98 % of the wool lambs in US production are of not good
flavoured type,
but the 2% of good flavoured wool lambs are more in the number than any hair
breed to find.
No country gets such amount of money for farming as Europe and US, why is
the lamb industrie soaring ?
Why are the US consumers buying the lamb meat for a very high price , when
it is not good ?
