Hi. My name is Judyth. I live in the Kansas Flint Hills with my
husband, Ray, my dog, Peachie and Crackers our Cockatiel. I'm
delighted to have found you guys.
My Kiowas are just loaded this year, their 3rd here. But, when I
planted them I got them way too close. My question is: Would it be
alright to prune the limbs after their fruit has rippened. Or do I
wait until the canes turn brown? Trimming them now sure would make
picking easier and less bloody.
I have started another row with the new plants that are coming up
from
the roots, OUTSIDE of the supports. Believe me, they are spaced far
apart.
Thanks for any help.
