I have recently returned to Linux after a hiatus due to chronic hardware
incompatibility. I have now sucessfully installed Mandrake 8.0, and
with it a later version of Blackbox than what I was using previously.
In the past, the key bindings I depended on were part of Blackbox
itself, i.e. using Control+Alt+the arrow keys to move between
workspaces. However, it appears that now is a function of BBKeys. I
downloaded and installed BBkeys, and I also downloaded the configuration
GUI. The configuration tool seg faults, so I am forced to work directly
with BBKeys itself, and I thought I was configuring some key bindings,
but nothing appeared to have happened when I was done. Do I need to
reboot before these take effect, or is there something else I'm missing?
I was a big fan of Blackbox previously, but it seems less functional
now, or functional with more difficulty.
Thanks!
Don J.
