plus you will want to use a command to set the gackgrounds that is
compatible with the thint pseudo-transparency functions of your
terminal. for example, if you use Eterm, use Esetroot to set your
background (you can use bsetbg, just configure ~/bsetbgrc to use
Esetroot)
