Okay, piece of crap balsa crashed on me, so this one's going to be even 
shorter.  Check to see if $HOME/.bbtools/ exists.  And to see if the 
directory is writable for the user running bbconf. And to see if 
$HOME/.bbtools/bbconf.bb is writable for the user running bbconf.
