Occasionally, if epist is running, no keystrokes make it to the application. For example, with an rxvt terminal running (launched from the Blackbox menu), I can see that keys are being pressed (cursor flashes) but nothing else happens. Killing the epist process clears the problem.
I can reproduce this at will on my laptop by logging in locally (which by itself works fine) and then making a remote VNC connection to the laptop and logging in as the same user. However, I've also experienced it once on my Desktop using an earlier version of CVS (right around the time of the CVS window focus discussion), but I chalked that one up to a fluke as it hasn't happened again until now. Oddly, when launching epist from the VNC session, it appears to attach to display 0 rather than the VNC display of 192.168.10.186:1.0. This happens regardless of whether I specify a -display option. This is what epist displays when launched from a console in the VNC session: Found compatible window manager 'Blackbox' for screen 0. I'm not sure if this is a problem with epist or Blackbox. I'm using Blackbox from CVS (check out from last night). -- Jamin W. Collins -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] List archives: http://asgardsrealm.net/lurker/splash/index.html Trouble?
