Thanks. "rxvt -geometry 80x150" worked.
I tried to resize it to see what blackbox would say the dimensions were
and it said "79 X 54" and then when I let go of mouse button it
immediately resized by itself to fit my screen height (54 rows) and it
jumped to left side of screen.
