No edge-flipping was the initial reason for my hesitation to adopt blackbox. I thought I couldn't live without it. I very quickly learned that I don't need it, and I'm sure you will too. Right click-sendto works very nicely. I would, however, like to experiment with setting up bbkeys to configure a key binding to send a window to the next workspace. I haven't investigated this at all, but it doesn't come up as an available action in bbconf.
The blackbox fork, openbox, supports edge flipping, but it's only linear. With enlightenment if you configure workspaces in a 3x3 grid you can move a window from work space 1 to 2 via the right border or 1 to 4 via the bottom border.
