There are a handful of different little dockable launcher apps out there. It's just
a matter of finding which one you want to use. I looked around on freshmeat a while
back for just such an app and ended up using one actually written with blackbox in
mind called bbbutton. You can find it at the url below.

It's a little bloated but if you have some cpu to spare you probably won't notice.
