Ok, this is officially driving me nuts. Every now and then -- sometimes once a week but more often twice a day -- my keys stop repeating. By this I mean that if I hold down the 'j' key, I get 'j' instead of 'jjjjjjj'. I *think* it might have something to do with copy-clicking, as it seems to happen more often when I'm writing documents, and I've noticed it once or twice right after copy-clicking. To fix it, I have to exit blackbox and log back in (hitting 'restart' doesn't cut it).
I say slightly off-topic because I don't think it's actually a blackbox issue. Xev does not recognize the repeat 'events'. I also installed openbox to see if it would happen in another wm, and it did. The funny thing is, it normally only happens on one of my pc's, but I think that might be because this is the one I write most of my documents on (more copy-clicking). It did happen once on Jamin's desktop, but just that once.
