No need, just kill bbappconf (killall bbappconf) and restart it the same
way you do in your .xinitrc.
 

umm .. maybe that's the reason it didn't start? I needed to actually 
start it as an app?
anway this is what happens:

bbappconf: no process killed
[EMAIL PROTECTED] void]$ bbappconf

what now?
