Summary: A small Nautilus focus issue remains

Initial Comment:
The primary focus-problem of Nautilus was fixed in
alpha7, but there is still one little thing:

It concerns the feature 'Focus last window on workspace':
Enabling this should give focus to the last window of
the workspace you change to. This works fine with all
apps except Nautilus of course =). Nautilus needs an
extra mouseclick to get focused, after I've changed to
the workspace where it is, even though nautilus is the
only window there.

I am not seeing the need for a double click here.

OK, hmm, that's too bad, but I understand. I know this is
kinda off topic, but you don't happen to know of any other
good Java IDEs except JBuilder ? =).

Sorry, I will not play with Java. No non-free software or
languages on this machine. Last I heard there was no way to
use GUI Java without using a closed VM and/or libs.

Yes, you are probably right about this, the issue is *not*
big anyway, I wouldn't use too much energy on it. Nautilus
is coming in newer versions with Gnome 2, so perhaps it will
be fixed then. The important thing is that you can at least
get it focused.

I stopped using Nautilus because of too many other "issues"
with this buggy filemanager. The only thing it has, as far
as I'm concerned, is looks, but this is not nearly enough.

Move on to more important things like making Java
application windows behave/draw properly. ;)

PS. If you would like me to try and test something with the
nautilus issue, I'd be happy to help.(I still have it installed)

Brad insists we are following the ICCCM to the letter here and
it is Nautilus that is misbehaving. Seeing as neither of us use
GNOME in any way testing this is proving difficult.
