Hey, Thanks a lot Keith and Ben. I didn't think it would be this easy. Is there a potential for problem with these 2 OS being listed? I'm not sure why there are two listed. One other question, what do you folks have marked for "system failure". Before I formatted, I would get these system dump errors..real pain or for no reason I could pinpoint. I have everything checked and small memory dump selected.

Keith may be right in saying you could just delete it but I haven't ever seen a Win2000 or WinXP installation without a boot.ini file. Ben Moore -----Original Message----- Hello, I just reformatted Windows XP and deleted the partitions before the install, that somehow got on here. Now when I turn the computer on, reboot, I get two OS to start, they both say the same thing. If I choose the first one, it boots fine, if I choose the second on, it says the OS can not start. Is there anyway to fix this so the computer boots on it's on..without having the options time out? Thank you. Jeff ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
