While not quite what you're asking, the following will show how to
accomplish each of these goals in a slightly different manner (don't
know if it'll be of any help).

shade/unshade is a double-click on the titlebar

I've used bbkeys to map this to windows+t

You could use bbkeys to map this to another key (not mouse) combo.

This can be accomplished by middle-clicking the maximize button or via
bbkeys with a keybind (windows+v here).  Additionally right clicking the
maximize button will maximize horizontally.

Again, not sure if these will be of any help, but thought I'd offer
them.
