I don't think you can change that in Mozilla's config. But here's another
idea: try unmaximizing/maximizing the window. This should definitely make it
avoid the slit and the toolbar. If it still covers one of them up even if
maximized, then try unchecking "full maximization" in your Blackbox
configuration.
