Are there any? I sort of remember there was at least one, but I can't put my finger on it. Anyway, I was thinking about writing such a tool for myself, see how it goes. I'd have no problem releasing it, except that I would be writing it in PHP-GTK. I don't know how many people have PHP support on their machines, let alone PHP-GTK support. > Also, I am beginning to look at fbpanel > (http://fbpanel.sourceforge.net/) and taskbar > (http://fbpanel.sourceforge.net/). I can't remember the URL but you should have no problem googling it and I think it's on Freshmeat too. It's a very simplistic taskbar with workspace support (only numbered buttons, no names or pager), two possible positions (top/bottom) adjustable on the fly via the left handle, toggle hidden position via the right handle, anti-aliased fonts, struts support (won't be covered by maximized windows). Last time I checked it had no skin or theme support, just the default colors. Handles kwin and metacity perfectly. Blackbox 0.70 less so, but I suspect Blackbox cvs has a little bit of work left before it is fully standards compliant and bug free. -- Ciprian Popovici -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] List archives: http://asgardsrealm.net/lurker/splash/index.html Trouble?
