I personally don't use click-to-focus, so I'm not familiar with the
problem. But I did a brief search through bug reports and mailing list
archives. Hopefully, I'm correct to assume the problem was that the
click-to-focus model lost keyboard focus when the mouse was moved
outside the window.

Brief testing on my side shows it seems to mostly work. But I didn't
test with X-Chat (not installed); only GIMP, GVim, and rxvt. Of the
three, only GVim exhibits the problem. Althrough the same problem exists
for the sloppy-focus model, too.

Example:

    1. Turn on the sloppy-focus-model
    2. Focus the GVim window
    3. Move mouse to desktop (without going over any other windows)

The GVim Window still has focus decorations, but won't respond to
keyboard events.

I guess if the problem was really fixed, the bug report should have been
closed by now?

In conclusion, it works for nearly everything according to my own brief
testing... but don't take my word for it. :)
