I got some errors trying to compile CVS, saying that functions in my /usr/include/bits/stdio.h and /usr/include/stdio.h throw different exceptions. Removing the -pedantic flag from compilation avoids the trouble. So I'm asking, is it really necessary?
Mine is an ex-Red Hat 7.2 with many upgrades and things compiled by hand, so it may well be an exception. -- Ciprian Popovici
