I can confirm that it's fixed - now that cvs has updated :-)
However :-( ...I'm now seeing _xine_ exit abruptly if I go though that cycle a few times (full-screen on and off with a cd playing). Is that more likely to be provoking an xine bug - I can't see a core dump - or has the wm somehow told xine to close?
I installed xine to test this, and I am indeed seeing this as well... it's xine that crashes:
Jan 18 08:14:50 reticent /kernel: pid 2164 (xine), uid 1001: exited on signal 10 (core dumped)
Jan 18 09:29:56 reticent /kernel: pid 27842 (xine), uid 1001: exited on signal 10 (core dumped)
I'm also seeing a blackbox crash when starting terragen (http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/) running this under wine. This ran ok until I did the recent update (to beta3 and then a newer cvs) but I'm not sure when the bug was introduced
You reported this in the tracker, it should already be fixed [snip]
