In my case, it's actually more interesting than that.. Not only does the firefox window get raised, but the workspace on which firefox resides also gets focused.
Sort of threw me off at first, but now that I'm used to it, it's kind of cool. I assume it's some window hint to which blackbox is now paying attention.
