I wrote a quick script for converting my lynx and netscape bookmarks to a blackbox menu(s). When you have tons of entries (such as in an uncategorized lynx bookmarks file) the blackbox menu becomes large, unwieldy and unusable. Seems to work okay for netscape's bookmarks if they are categorized with "folders". It is available at: http://www.reedmedia.net/misc/blackbox/bookmarks_to_blackbox_menu (Be sure to scan over the code for more comments and information.) I added to my blackbox menu: [submenu] (Bookmarks) {Visit webpage...} [include] (/home/reed/.blackbox/bookmarks.menu) [end] then I ran: ./bookmarks_to_blackbox_menu > ~/.blackbox/bookmarks.menu ** be sure to not overwrite your real menu!
