Greetings, All!
Though bbpal has been written for several months now, I've finally
updated all that I need to and have tarred it up for public consumption!
You can download it at:

Just what is bbpal, you might ask? Here's the README:
---
So, just what is bbpal? If you've ever used the GNOME applet "fish," or
Wanda, then this is an app very similar. In fact, that's where I got the
idea for bbpal (since you need GNOME to use Wanda). When you run bbpal, is
displays an image, and changes it every few seconds. Exciting, eh? It's
fond of using up CPU cycles, and making your friends wonder what the heck
it's used for.
There are many different pals to choose from; just edit the bbpal.(no)bb
file and take your pick. It's also very easy to create your own pal. The
best way to do it is to look at the pals that come with this app (installed,
bu default, in /usr/local/share/bbtools/bbpal). I do ask, though, that if
you make a pal, please let me know by sending me an e-mail at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] And if your willing to share, I'd love a copy.
I hope to add some functionality to bbpal so that it at least does
*something*, but it is my first bbtool, and I thought it was simple enough
to get a good feel for how things work (and it certainly did that!).
Perhaps an option in bbpal.(no)bb that lets you specify a command to run
when you left-click on the app.
You can specify the pal to load via the command line, using the "-p" option,
but any pal specified on the command line must have the same settings (ie
number of images, size, and delay) as set in the bbpal.(no)bb file. If you
specify a pal on the command line, and something is not working right, check
the settings in bbpal.(no)bb (by default, installed in
/usr/local/share/bbtools).
Thanks for giving it a try! Please send comments, questions, and pals to:

Many thanks to:
Brad Hughes (nyz) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
For writing Blackbox, a most excellent window manager. He also
assisted with debugging some of this code. He's a fantastic guy!
Thanks, Brad!
John Kennis (kns) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
For writing bbtools, from which bbpals is derived (if that's not
already obvious). He also helped me with debugging code. Nice
work, John! Thanks!
Youngjin Hahn (artwiz) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
For designing the pals included with this app! Man--he's got
skills! Thanks so much, artwiz! I'm waiting for the Dalmatian! :)

Thanks a lot! Please send opinions!
