Recently, I installed the blackbox port on my FreeBSD 3.2 machine at home.
Being very enthousiatic about it, I also installed it on my Sun
Ultra-10 running Solaris 7 at work.

The problem here though, is that when I put
 session.imageDither: False
in my ~/.blackboxrc file, the window manager only seems to use a
handfull of colors (no matter what I set session.colorsPerChannel to),
resulting in a really ugly display

When I say
 session.imageDither: True
in my ~/.blackboxrc file, I actually do get a dithered image which
doesn't look that good either.

I wonder, how can I get a nice undithered display just like I do at home ?
This Ultra-10 has a Creator 3D graphics card, giving me 24-bit color.

I think the Xserver runs in PseudoColor visual mode by default.
So I tried to tell it to use TrueColor by starting the X server with
the following command :
 /usr/openwin/bin/X -dev /dev/fb -defclass TrueColor
Unfortunately, when I then start blackbox, it dumps core.

Any hints ?
