FWIW I couldn't configure blackbox .5 on Mandrake 7.0 either - "your C++ compiler
cannot create executables". It worked on Mandrake 6.1 (?) on another machine earlier
that day though, the only differences in the installed libraries (rpm's) being some
minor version #s. I am done futzing with Mandrake though, but if you find a fix I
would still like to know about it.
