i've been using blackbox for at least a year now and have had almost
the same X startup files all the time. now and then i added something
but commented it out almost the same day. usually the apps hadn't any
problems to start up before the final 'exec /usr/local/bin/blackbox',
but now i'm getting familiar with xrootconsole which runs transparently
on the desktop, but doesn't refresh it's background when blackbox kicks in.
dunno if this is a problem because i'm using different programs for
my gdm background (wmsetbg) and blackbox styles (Esetroot), but does
anybody knowan altenative way to have that app starting after blackbox,
but still the session exit when i choose from my menu blackbox>exit?
any ideas appreciated.
what weird .xinitrc files are blackbox users having anyways to get the
best out of X? i have only comments and bbkeys -iconic + blackbox. but
there used to be xscreensaver, coolicon, panel and many others =)
and a final thing - does really nobody know what this weird fonts in
blackbox are all about (http://www.hot.ee/odt/bbmenu.png)? i posted
a question on this previously...
