compiling error's on blackbox .53 and .6

Greetings folks,
   I am trying to compile BB .53 and .6. I keep getting the following
error:

make[2]: *** [BaseDisplay.o] Error 1

make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/download/blackbox-0.60.3'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2


Has anyone else had this problem?
